NOTICE OF ELECTION

The period for filing a petition for the May 18, 2021 Special Election for positions on the Gold
Hill City Council is now open.

The positions to be voted on:
City Councilor (2) two-year term, ending December 31, 2022
The requirements for filing for any of these positions are as follows:

1. The candidate must be a registered voter of the city of Gold Hill; and
2. The candidate must reside within the City limits for a minimum of twelve months
prior to the election date (May 18, 2021).

The required number of signatures required to complete the Petition for filing for a candidacy
for Nonpartisan Nomination is 20, per City Code; and signatures must be verified by the Jackson
County Elections Division.

The forms can be picked up at City Hall 420 6th Avenue, Gold Hill, OR 97525 on February 17,
2021. Verified petitions must be submitted to the Gold Hill City Recorder by 4:30 PM, Monday,
March 8, 2021 to qualify for the May 18, 2021 ballot.

Persons interested in filing for any of these positions may obtain the necessary forms at Gold
Hill City Hall, 420 6th Avenue, Gold Hill during normal business hours, Monday through Friday
10:00AM to 4:30PM.
