To citizens of Gold Hill,

Due to unseasonably high temperatures this year, our village's risk of fire is higher than ever.  City Council members have heard an outpouring of angst and fear of a firey conflagration this year.  Therefore, the Council passed a Resolution prohibiting fireworks this year.

In order to ensure compliance, the city will issue a $250 citation to anyone who uses fireworks in town this year.  If you see anyone lighting fireworks, or using open flames, take a picture send it to:   This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  A citation will be issued.

Please save your fireworks for our New Year's celebration in December!  It will be epic.  Thanks for helping us keep our village safe.
